Water for the dead……for the living?

In Hindu tradition after cremating the dead, the remains are flown in the river. Here, the man is walking on the river bed with no water around him. After burning his dead he could somehow find some water to dose the fire of the cremation.

The question that came to my mind was that, was the person who is dead able to have his share of water during his life? Certainly he didn’t get his due after his death.

But could this water have been saved for someone alive, saved someone from dying.

This vicious cycle of life and death will continue for ever but will water be there in life and death?
